Hi!

My name is Sylwia and I “create history”. I am a huge enthusiast of historical reenactment and handicrafts. I combine passion with work, which gives me incredible satisfaction. I put my whole heart into each of my projects, each of them forms a part of my history, the history of my artistic creation. In my store you will find part of what I do. Don’t be afraid to ask if you have an idea that I could help you make real.

What can I do for you?

Hand felted hats

The main branch of my activity towards historical reconstruction is the creation of felt hats. I started making them in 2011, and after a long hiatus from producing them for clients, I returned to the market in 2023. I never use semi-finished products – all hats are made from scratch by hand, that is, from raw sheep fleece. Felt is thin and stiff, long and decent felted. As a result, the hats do not mothball and for a long time they look as good as when you bought them.
I make hats from all historical eras, also decorated with embroidery and with lining and with all kinds of decorations.

Handwoven fabrics

I have been an active weaver for more than 9 years. I mainly make sling fabrics (for babywearing), but also fabrics for reenactment such as wool or linen and silk. I can weave frilled veils (kruselers) also. I weave on a floor loom, without the use of mechanisms such as a flying shuttle or dobby system.

Historical tailor

I have always sewn my costumes for historical reconstruction with my own hands. I quickly started fulfilling orders from customers. I sew both by machine and by hand (but I definitely love hand sewing). There is also an interesting intermediate option, where the supporting seams are sewn by machine, while the rest of the seams are finished in such a way that only a keen eye will notice that the garment is not entirely hand-sewn. This way of finishing is economical and for this reason I particularly recommend it. In addition to the standard offer shown on the site, I will undertake most orders for sewing garments for historical reconstruction from all historical eras.

Yarns and Naalbiding

You can also order hand-spun wool, linen and silk yarns from me.
In addition, I am happy to undertake knitting made using the naalbiding technique from my own, as well as from entrusted yarn.
