Description
Kruseler is popular medieval woman’s headwear.
The frill is not sewn to it as in most makers, but is an integral part of the fabric. This is the only historically confirmed construction of this type of headgear. Weaving wavy edges like this requires a lot of skill and patience.
This frilled veil is handwoven from bleached linen (historical shade). Color is not white, but ecru, which looks very natural and historical.
I offer custom lenght of veil (by 50cm).
The picture shows a 2m long kierchef (for this lenght you should purchase 4pcs (50cm x 4). Probably you will need minimum 1m long veil.
Kruseler will be custom made – it means I will weave it upon receipt of your order.
Width is around 50cm + ruffles
Remember!
You are buying a completely hand-woven fabric. The peculiarities of hand-woven fabric are some weaving errors. Take this into account when placing your order. Errors in the fabric are not grounds for complaints and returns.
